Green Island is not only the beautiful island we relocated to last year, Vancouver Island, but it is also a significant staple in both our childhoods. It is the home base Devon grew up on, with many outdoor adventures he had as a child in northern Alberta. It's their very own Green Island located on the Peace River. McKenzie grew up on the North Island of New Zealand with its sprawling green hills. We are now excited to raise our boys in such a beautiful place.

LAST SUMMER, OUR LIVES SIGNIFICANTLY CHANGED WHEN OUR YOUNGEST SON STARTED EXPERIENCING A SUDDEN ONSET OF SEIZURES, LOSING MOBILITY AND THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE. WE SPENT THREE MONTHS IN THE HOSPITAL, COMMUTING BACK AND FORTH FROM HOME. OVER THE PAST SIX MONTHS, WE CREATED THE COOLER BACKPACK TO ASSIST OTHER FAMILIES FACING SIMILAR CHALLENGES: A BAG THAT KEEPS YOUR FOOD COOL AND HAS SPACE FOR ESSENTIALS, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR DAY HAS IN STORE. OUR SON IS NOW ON THE MEDICAL KETO DIET FOR A RARE GENETIC NEUROLOGICAL DISEASE, THE COOLER BAG HAS BECOME AN ESSENTIAL PART OF OUR LIVES. NOT ONLY TO BRING HIS FOOD BUT ALSO TO CARRY SNACKS FOR OUR OTHER SON. A LAPTOP, AND DAILY ESSENTIALS.
